It’s one thing for your extroverted partner to invite you wherever he or she goes so that you can enjoy each other’s company however, this may be perceived as quality time by each other differently. Reminding your extroverted partner that quality together is important is part of the course.

Spotting an extrovert in a crowd is the exact opposite of finding a needle in a haystack. More often than not, extroverts are the ones who easily mingle with anyone whether it’s a familiar face or a fresh acquaintance. They know most people in the room—either that or they’re working on it. In some cases, they are the actual life of the party.

Here’s the thing: making friends with an extrovert is the easy part. However, being in a relationship with one can be a bit taxing especially if you’re the more laidback type and prefer silence. The truth is, while extroverts are generally seen as happy people, they also encounter personality clashes, such as when their partner is more reserved or introverted.

Over the next 10 weeks, we’ll share 10 ways to show your love for your extroverted partner:

    5. Remind them of your needs.
It’s good if you allow your partner to socialise regardless of whether he or she tags you along, but it’s also important that you bond and do things as a couple. Engage in activities where you have each other’s undivided attention and do them on a regular basis.
It can be as simple as going to an art gallery, but if you want to touch base with your inner risk-taker, camping or rock climbing might be your thing. Balancing time with many people, time as a couple and time on your own is critical.

Reminding your extroverted partner that quality together is important is critical.

Tune in next week for more ways to show your love for your extrovert partner.
